Week 3

It's amazing how fast time goes - we are in Week 3 already! Everyone has made a great start to their Balmacewen schooling. I have been impressed with the effort going into work especially homework. Thank you and keep it up!
Swimming is well underway and, again, I have been impressed at how well behaved everyone is at the pool. In fact, a member of the public came up to me to comment on how well behaved Balmacewen pupils are!
This week we continue with our "It's all about me" projects. Remember this is due in on Friday.
We are also continuing with our Term topic of Identity. We are exploring our history.

Week 2

This week really only felt like two or three days. The fastest part of the week was waterpolo. My Mum and I arrived for tryouts. Only one or two of us knew how to play. I didn't really want to be there. But when we got to play it was the best sport this year. I highly recommend it for Term 4.

Week 2

On Monday Room 3 went swimming. After swimming lessons we played in the wave pool. During the week we have been finishing our graffiti names, they look cool. Our topic is Identity and we have been looking at NZ history. After assembly on Friday we are starting our house sports, we are all looking forward to it.

Term 1 Week 2

Here is a photo of Room 3 in all their wonderful glory!
It will be fun to take another photo of Room 3 at the end of the year and compare. I wonder how much we will have changed? (Myself included!)
